The Peace That Follows Grace

Rom 1:7; 1 Cor 1:3; Gal 1:3; Eph 1:2; 2 Thes 1:2; 2 Tim 1:2; Titus 1:4; Philem 1:3; 2 Pet 1:2;

"...grace and peace to you, from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ."

It's impossible to have any lasting peace without Gods help. The peace for which every person longs is the kind that brings a quiet rest.

The troubled world in which we live produces...
troubled souls,
              troubled marriages,
                           unsettled lives,
                                     and restless hearts.

The pleasures of sin last only for a season. Countless wanderers are daily finding that season come to a miserable and oppressive end. Sin and worldly pleasures cannot satisfy the longing of the human heart...which is to be in harmony and fellowship with God. For this reason Christ came; to restore our broken relationship with almighty God. Its not until we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior; consumed by His loving grace; that peace reigns victoriously within our hearts.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though He was rich yet for your sake He became poor that we through His poverty might be made rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9

The grace and unmerited favor of God, made possible by the blood of Jesus, cleanses us from all sin, bringing harmony, joy, and lasting...PEACE.

Grace...then Peace.

The same is true in all relationships. When grace appears; peace comes alongside.
Unions thrive in peace and are destroyed by strife.

Grace says "forgiven;
                        forgotten;
                             remember mercy;
                                  love one another."

Grace frees people to grow; to love; and even to fail.
In grace...God sees us through Christ;
In Christ...we see others through grace.

There may be strife or tension at home, work, or school. Oftentimes one kind word or expression of GRACE can transform the storm and bring sunshine and desirable peace.
Because of grace we shout with the angelic hosts;
          "Glory to God in the highest. On earth PEACE... and goodwill toward men.

As children of the King we know a peace that is beyond all understanding; a peace that the world did not give us...and the world can't take it away.

REMEMBER GRACE FIRST...then comes peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
