Mighty Grace

2 Timothy 2:1 Be strong in the grace Graceful in action, speech, and thought. To be healthy in grace begins with the process of your thinking. If you loathe the impertinent in your heart their will be little grace when you encounter them. Great grace begins will unconditional love for the vilest of sinners; recalling what we once were. Because of grace and those baptized in it's fullness, the leper is healed. Strong grace strengthens the weak, lifts the fallen, anoints the sick, and comforts the afflicted; to reach; to win; to rescue. Philippians 4:8 ...whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. To think on these things inspires our speech; directs our deeds; seasoned with salt; Their is an eagerness in those rich in Grace as heirs of the promise; a zeal to open their coffers and lavish the pauper with divine virtues of love, mercy, and grace. Born Again

John 3:7  You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' If our Lord thought it necessary to say it then it bears repeating. All the Christian activities and associations in which we are aligned does not mean we are born again. Titles, service, and even baptism does not make us born anew. The phrase "Born Again" may be outdated and unpopular but the truth remains. Unless we are transformed by the Holy Spirit of God and experience a new birth we will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. We are not fostered to be His children we are born His children. New birth happens when we receive the free gift of eternal life through our Lord and  Savior Jesus Christ. Please pay careful attention my friends. Multitudes will say on that day that they dedicated their life to the Christian effort and cause but He will say to them, " depart from me, I never knew you. 2 Corinthians 5:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power  is from God and not from us. What we possess in Christ is a limitless supply of heavenly treasures. It is the nature of trials and testings to remind us that all His treasure abides within our frail earthen vessel. Such remarkable and priceless possessions are purified during the intense burning and removal of dross. "Our faith, being much more precious than gold though refined by the fire". No mortal person is delighted in the furnace. Even Jonah despaired of life in the heat of the sun. In the heat we learn to trust not in the gourd but our God. What we have...is divine riches residing in earthen vessels. Toils of life empties our strength...our confidence...pride; but not His treasure. We fall prostrate before our comforter and strength. Tears fall and heaven bends over backward; releasing the all surpassing power of our creator; till our cup runneth over.

Come and Dine

Isaiah 55: “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. 2 Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?  I don't know how the Lord does it but at the right moment, in the depth of our despair, malnourished from the husk of the swine; He then holds out in front of us His free and indescribable gift. An opportunity that comes through the means of His Holy Spirit. It is a banquet fit for royalty. Sustenance that quickens the senses to a mouth watering urge. With one glimpse at His bounty and a whiff of the aroma we are assured that this is what we lack; to eat, to drink, what most assuredly can fill us to end all our languor and longing. It if free. No money or wage is necessary; only to receive the free gift. The promise is that if we dine we will live; abundantly...eternally. What will it take? To what depths are you so w
