Word of God...Speak

Many of us go around wanting something supernatural and spiritual to
occur in our lives, but often ignore the things that
make it possible; God, His word, and prayer.

Listen to this testimony I heard recently of the word of God and it's
miracle transforming power.

The testimony was about Korea and how the life and death of early
Christian martyrs still impact that country today.

Nearly a century ago a Christian missionary transporting bibles to
remote areas was traveling the countryside when he was attacked and
murdered. The robbers stripped the missionary of all his clothes and
belongings. When they found copies of Gods word, one of them said,

"look at this book with all these nice pages. I think I will use this
to wallpaper my house," and that's what he did. He used the fine pages
of the word and lined his entire hut.

Little did he know that as he lay upon his bed at night, "the walls
began to speak!" From reading the wallpaper of scripture this man
became a Christian.

The other man took a bible and decided that with the nice thin pages
it would be perfect for his outhouse. The story told is that by the
time he had torn through Genesis to Leviticus he was saved, (by then
he was missing the first three books of the bible).

The voice of God and His supernatural spiritual working power is alive
and at work; for us and through us. It exist to change lives, melt
hearts, add clarity, and affirm His presence. Christ the LORD is
manifested to us as we nurture His word and prayerfully walk in the
Spirit.

John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one
who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I
too will love them and show myself to them."

Uniting with the Father, through His word, and prayer, we establish a
trifecta of supernatural presence...1 John 5:7 For there are three
that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy
Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear
witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these
three agree as one.

Ingest His word...consume His word. By it God is revealed and lives
are changed, including our own.
