The Battle Is The Lord's

Hebrews 11:32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens....

...Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. 36 Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— 38 of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts...

In the interest of fairness you can't lists one without the other. God revealed that He is the Lord of hosts in many situations, however there are many other references in scripture where deliverance was no where to be found; except deliverance into glory.

The battle is still the Lords.
I can't begin to understand the mysteries of God, but I do have an understanding of the key words here. We focus on those delivered... and those not... but the emphasis of this passage rest on this phrase,

 "...who through faith..."

Job says, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him".

Suffering abounds among the heirs of God. Some are granted victory on this earth in supernatural fashion. Others are given victory on the other side. Each is to remain steadfast in faith regardless of how and when.

Faith is the operative word in all of the Christian life. Faith in Gods wisdom, faith in His sovereignty, faith in His love and His presence. By faith we are saved and receive an inheritance, undefiled, and stored away for us who believe.

At some point in our life, especially in tough times, we question if we have what it takes to press on.
I know the feeling all too well.
It's amazing how the enemy will sow discord even in our thinking.

"The important thing to remember
is that God does not ask us to part
the Red Sea, call fire down from heaven,
or even toss mountains into the sea.
Hebrews 11 says that He expects us to
simply believe that He can do all things"

Never stop believing. Believe that He is God... and that He is your Lord and Savior. Never...never...never stop believing in faith. The conditions, variables, factors, and pressures may change all around... But He Never Does...and He has given unto us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them we become partakers of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4)

This is what God wants; tiny mustard seed faith.
Trust me, I know the temptation of worry and fear. Its a very human response.
Didn't Jesus have anxiety in the garden of Gethsemane?
Yet He never...ever doubted!!! and look what God hath done!!!

Never stop believing.
Believe...and no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isa. 55:17).
