Over lunch the subject came up about what she plans to do with the rest of her life, her career choice, and where to go from here.
Question: How does a person discover their career path?
Here's what we determined.
Putting career first should not be the preeminent decision of a High School Sr.
Colossians 1:18 (New International Version)
18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
Is Christ number one in our life? Our career....... is to serve Him. That is our work and ministry. When He's in the number one spot we see everything more clearly. Once the priority of Christ is in place, becoming a servant to all quickly fills the number two position.
Ultimately our career path is defined with this...God, what would you have me do that I may please you and serve others?
God, in His infinite wisdom, may open doors for you that at this moment are unimaginable. Trust Him now and fear not. As believers in an awesome God we know that he guards our going out and coming in from this time forth and forevermore. There is tremendous peace and rest in deciding today who we work for.
