What is the Plan...?

There's a saying that if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans
Whenever you work on the international mission field there is a
consistent word of advice you hear over and again: be flexible, plans change!
The healthy perspective for you and me is to approach every day with
this:
God, I don't know where you're going today
         but I'm going with you.

Abraham and His brother Lot parted company because their traveling
families had become too large to coexist.

Abraham said to Lot, "We need to split up. If you go left I'll go
right, if you go right I'll go left."

To the left were the plains of Sodom and Gommorah. Consequently,
Lot chose left and his life was ruined!

What if Lot had chosen right? That would have placed Abraham in the
cesspool of Sodom. Would Abraham have experienced the same fate as his
brother?
Not likely.
Why?
Because Abraham, as a child of God, had surrendered his to life
to following GODS plan. Wherever and whatever life threw at him!

The decision on which way to go is not one you make at that time....its one you make NOW!

This had to be tough.
Following God isn't for cowards.
There's not a one of us that doesn't stutter step when the unplanned
and unexpected happens.

God doesn't take your plans and make them come true, He takes your
heart and willingness to follow Him...promising that He will provide
for you at every turn.

Jeremiah 29:11 (The Message)
I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care
of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.

God is not impressed with our plans, goals, or accomplishments. He
wants your faith in this: He is working all things for you...and His
good purpose.

Like Abraham, be determined that wherever you are, you are HIS and HE is yours.
What God ask of you is, Trust....Believe...Surrender.

1 Peter 4:12 (The Message)
Friends, when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion
that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very
thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining
process, with glory just around the corner.
