GRATITUDE

Gratitude
                Gratitude
                                   Gratitude
Its a serious thing...its a biblical thing. I believe its one of the most important principles taught in scripture. In Greek culture, gratitude or thankfulness is the greatest of all gifts. Not only feeling a sense of gratitude but expressing it.

Luke 17
15...One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
17Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

Now I'm sure that all ten of the lepers Christ cleansed were happy but only one returned to express his profound gratitude to Him. Jesus implied that giving thanks is important and....spiritual

Having an attitude of gratitude strikes
at the core of an individuals personality.
Some have a stronger sense of courtesy
             and appropriateness than others.

Matthew 14
19
And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves.

Jesus sets an example for a perfect time and place to pause and practice a heart of gratitude. Think about your latest blessing, from a new sunrise to a new car...God has blessed you! Thank Him. You'll feel better about yourself, more conscious of all He's done, and....its just the right thing to do.When you show gratitude it frees things up for a deeper awareness of Him

If a generous Father lavished gifts on his children and they never thanked him do you think it would begin to affect their relationship?

God is more than an earthly Father and operates on many levels by his undeserved grace but as my gratitude increases our relationship deepens.
According to Exodus 20:5... He is a jealous God.

Open your eyes to all He's done and open your mouth to say..."Thank You"
